Accreditation

Royal Canadian Institute of Technology is a private post-secondary institution fully registered and accredited with the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA), the Government of British Columbia.

Accreditation is a process undertaken by those institutions that wish to prove their educational and academic excellence based on standards established by the PCTIA . If registration addresses the minimum standard for all private career institutions in BC, accreditation means that the institution maintains high standards and has a solid reputation in the educational industry in B.C. Canada. Domestic students may be eligible for loans and grants if they satisfy the requirements of BCSAP . Funding may also be available through Human resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC) to qualified domestic students.

Students in accredited institutions are protected by the Student Training Completion Fund. PCTIA’s mission is the following:

PCTIA“The Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) has responsibility under the Private Career Training Institutions Act to: Provide consumer protection to the students and prospective students of registered institutions; Establish standards of quality that must be met by accredited institutions; Establish and manage the student Training Completion Fund”.
