Program Description

The Diploma Program in Network Administration & Internet Security/Information Technology will give students the opportunity to learn basic concepts dealing with PC hardware, software, networking as well as network and Internet security, voice and data networks and basic programming functions. Students may become certified specialists in several computer networking and Internet security fields as well as managing firewalls like Microsoft ISA Server. Students will concentrate on local and wide area networking, web technology and web security. Students will learn skills such as: installing cabling, configuring networking technology, routers and switches, network administration, network diagnostics, network implementation, computer diagnostics, wireless administration and network security.

Upon the completion of this program, graduates should be able to take industry certification in A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, MCP, MCSA, CCNA and ACSP on our campus.

Must have at least grade 12 or equivalent, 19 years of age or older and must have a good command of written and spoken English. An entrance test or a telephone interview is required.
